Japanese rock band performs Kamikazee’s ‘Narda’

MANILA, Philippines – A Japanese rock group has performed its own rendition of local band Kamikazee’s “Narda,” a song that is said to be about the Filipino heroine Darna. Uchusentai NOIZ did a faster, more upbeat version of “Narda” in a music video uploaded on YouTube on Tuesday. The video also mentioned that the band will perform in Davao from September 7 to 9, and at Function Room 4 and 5 of SMX Convention Center at the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City from September 15 to 16.

Charice to sing at 9/11 tribute game to be held in Florida, USA

Charice is expected to perform during a football game that will mark the 10th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in the United States. In her official Twitter account, Charice confirmed that she will be part of the 9/11 tribute game that will be held in Jacksonville, Florida. According to charicemania.com, the fansite maintained by Charice's fans, the Filipina singer will sing the "Star Spangled Banner" and "God Bless America" for a match between the Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars.

Ginoong Vitalis is set to unleash their new music video and single "Pilit"

Inside the historical walls of Intramuros, five scholars of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila came together and decided to form a band.

Inspired by the character “Maestro Vitalis” from the cartoon series “Nobody’s Child”, these five young men formed Ginoong Vitalis on September 2002 in their alma mater's grass fields.

Influenced by the giant sound of the south Urbandub, Sugarfree and the futuristic sound of Incubus in making their distinct music.

The band is currently enjoying some success being runners up to the Nokia Music Connection search which also started the ball rolling for the music video shoot of their new single "Pilit"

Ginoong Vitalis' "Pilit" music video was directed by King Palisoc, Produced by Nokia Music Connection and MYX.

Catch Ginoong Vitalis' at Route 196 on September 21 as they launch their new music video and single - "Pilit".

With performances from The Very First, Tanya Markova, Rubberpool and Soapdish.
