Amber Davis - "Radio" Lyrics

Posted by kornhead On Sunday, August 14, 2011
(Hey DJ... Can you play my song?
Take it back for me now... Let's go
Trying to take it back...
To the times that music stars were made on the radio)

Heard it first on the radio
I'd tune in just to hear that song
My DJ's crazy on the radio
Had me laughing while I sang along

Used to be how superstars were made
Now video has taking over the game
Wasn't always the way it is today
Let's take it back to where it all began

On the Radio
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
On the Radio... Radio
On the Radio
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
On the Radio... Radio

Take me back to the way it used to be
Making hits with simple melodies (whoa)
Artists would shine cause of quality
When radio ruled the industry

Used to be how superstars were made
Now video has taking over the game
Wasn't always the way it is today
Let's take it back to where it all began

This song was made for the Radio
Oh oh oh oh oh (radio oh)
Oh oh oh oh oh

Listening to the top 10
Makes me wanna call in
Tell them play my favorite song (DJ play my favorite song)
Waiting with my finger on the tape deck (yeah)
Gotta hear the next track
Don't keep me waiting to long (don't keep me waiting to long)

Listening to the top 10
Makes me wanna call in
Tell them play my favorite song (DJ play my favorite song)
Waiting with my finger on the tape deck
Gotta hear the next track
Don't keep me waiting to long (don't keep me waiting to long)

On the Radio
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
On the Radio... Radio
This song was made for the Radio
Oh oh oh oh oh oh
On the Radio... Radio
