In one spin of the very awaited album in OPM rock this season, “No Water, No Moon," Bamboo Mañalac's very first solo launch under Polyeast Records. There's no question that for him, there will be life beyond his career being a front man. Teamed with the top music artists in the industry, he offers his musical thoughts that go beyond his craft and say, “Nothing’s changed. It’s exactly the same pressure that I’ve always placed on myself. Whether in a band or going out on my own, or whatever I do. Just wanting to push, claw and climb.”
Mañalac gets returning to his jazz origins, as well as in a different way he’s planning towards from what he’s known for-mainstream pop rock genre. Featuring the initial single “Questions,” Bamboo said, “I felt this was a good intro to the album because it has a lot of colors and instrumentation that we have in the album in just one song. The song is personal, but I thought it spoke of human experience.”
The first single is going to be launched in radio stations on September 22, 2011, Thursday at 10:00 am with a simultaneous airing nationwide. Bamboo which himself produced and wrote the majority of the songs, has been in the US for final mastering of the album and doing particular activities exhibiting his music because this will also be released globally. He will return as soon as the tour in time for the album release. Album release date and debut video is going to be launched later this month.
