Sugarfree "100% Greatest Hits"

As one of the best well-loved, pop-alternative bands introduced in 2003 that truly made a mark in the Philippine music scene, Sugarfree releases a collective work of their smash hits from 2003 to 2009.

After giving out their last curtain call on March 1, titled "Paalam Pilipinas" at Eastwood, Libis, PolyEast Records releases Sugarfree's "100% Greatest Hits" album, sure to re-win the hearts of its fans.

In its 11 years of existence, Sugarfree released 4 studio albums: Sa Wakas (2003), Dramachine (2004), Tala-Arawan (2006) and Morning & Airports (2009). The band also released a live album in 2008, (Sugarfree Live! with Manila Symphony Orchestra) a two-disc effort that captured their first major concert at the Music Museum on September 29, 2007.

100% Greatest Hits is a definitive album that features tracks from their 2003 debut up to their last. The collection gives an idea of how far they've come musically and professionally, fuelled by artistic differences, pressures from an already crowded band scene, and line-up changes which saw the departure of The Pin-Ups' Mitch Singson on drums. Singson left the band in August 2006 for personal reasons. Kaka Quisumbing immediately took his place as they came out with a new album in the same year (Tala-Arawan).

The greatest hits album lists Sugarfree's songs in chronological order of release, representing most of their popular singles including, of course, their biggest trademark songs: 2003's "Burnout", "Mariposa" and "Telepono", 2004's "Hari Ng Sablay", "Tulog Na" and "Kwarto," 2006's "Dear Kuya", "Kung Ayaw Mo Na Sa Akin", "Nangangawit" and "'Wag Ka Nang Umiyak", and 2009's "Hay Buhay", "Feels Like" and "Hangover."

Also included in the compilation are "Batang-Bata Ka Pa", which was used in the KaminApo Muna Apo Tribute album and "Makita Kang Muli", the original soundtrack of ABS-CBN's TV series "Panday".

100% Greatest Hits album from Sugarfree is now available in stores released by PolyEast Records for only Php 350.
